Holistic Approach
With emphasis on a Holistic Approach, our objective is to keep the client in the “now”. Through a guided and structured process, we treat all addictions from an educational modality.
Each client is encouraged to:
- Recognize that alcoholism and chemical dependency is a progressive and often fatal disease. Moreover, no one consciously chooses to become and alcoholic and or chemically dependent.
- Client is also encouraged to assume responsibility for personal and continued recovery.
- That sobriety like relapse comes down to choice.
For the alcoholic of chemically dependent personality: we understand that successful treatment starts in the mind. As we think, so we are. We believe that humans are born with the potential for rational thinking. Clients and family members (yes, alcoholism is a family disease), are encouraged to attend 12 Step Recovery Meetings of: Alcoholics Anonymous, Adult Children of Alcoholics, Alanon, Cocaine Anonymous, Families Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.
The Services
All Relapse Prevention Counseling Center, Inc. programs and services comply with Judicial Circuit Court requirements and Illinois Secretary of State Stipulations.
